Telangana’s Madhira from Khammam has reported its first COVID. The person infected with the novel virus is one migrant, who along with 16 others landed to their home from Mumbai on May 14. The matter came to light after seven migrants out of 17 were taken ill and showed symptoms of fever and cough.
The district medical and health official Dr Malathi then conducted the COVID tests on them migrants and was tested positive. Subsequently, the area was sanitized and was disinfected.
