The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States have reached 600,000, while over 25,000 have died so far by 6:50 p.m. (2250 GMT).
The most-affected of all states has been New York which saw 202,630 cases and a death toll of 10,834. Meanwhile, New Jersey saw 68,824 cases and 2,805 deaths. Other states with over 20,000 cases included Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania, California, Illinois and Louisiana.
