Even though F2 became a blockbuster, actor Varun Tej got criticism for his dialogue delivery in the Telangana accent. many people opined that his accent was very fake and not an authentic one. Even Varun noticed this criticism and decided to prove his mettle again if he gets a chance to do a Telangana character.
Incidentally, he got that chance for his very next film Valmiki. Varun played the role of a rural gangster from Telangana named Gathalakonda Ganesh. Apparently, this time Varun took a lot of care in his dialogue delivery and tried his best to utter the words in a proper accent, with the help of director Harish Shankar.
