Venu Udugula on Sai Pallavi’s role

Filmmaker Venu Udugula’s second venture Virata Parvam made a lot of noise even before it went on floors. Inspired from true-events, the film is set against the background of Naxal movement of the 1990s. The first look of Rana Daggubati, Sai Pallavi and National award winning actress Priyamani have been out so far. Since the film also deals with woman naxal activists, for a long time there was a talk that Sai Pallavi’s role draws similarity from Telangana activist and singer Belli Lalitha. She is a prominent face among woman naxalites in the state who was murdered in 1990.

He goes on to hail Maari 2 actress for her stellar performance in the film, adding her role comes out as intriguing and she will leave the audience spellbound with her role. The film is based on real incidents that happened in Karimnagar and Warangal.
