Kaira Advani starrer Kabir Singh has hot the screens. The female has Shahid Kapoor in the lead role and is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who had directed the original Arjun Reddy. The film is getting a positive response until now and going by the trade talk, it’s another blockbuster for Sandeep. Vijay Deverakonda who reprised the original role wished the team as his tweet reads, “#KabirSingh – for me @imvangasandeep and his ability, vision & passion for storytelling is greater than any box-office success he can see. And in him I’ve found a fireplace for my energy and vision. I wish massive blockbuster success to @shahidkapoor and @Advani_Kiara”

Kaira essays the student’s role who stays in a hostel. Ask Kaira how she prepped up for her character and she is quick to say that she has never stayed in a hostel before. But she decided to stay in a hostel to get the essence of it. “Since I’m from Mumbai and also went to college in Mumbai I had never stayed in a hostel before but my character Preeti stays in one. I really wanted to understand how life in a hostel is for young students and so I decided to stay in one for a few days. The experience was absolutely enriching and it helped me while I interacted with the students.”
