Mahesh Babu entered Tollywood as a child artist and emerged as Superstar in Tollywood. Mahesh made his debut as a child artist in the film Needa, released on 29th November 1979. The film was released today, 41 years ago. Mahesh Babu’s brother Ramesh Babu played the lead role in the film. Dasari Narayana Rao directed the movie.After Needa, Mahesh Babu did a lot of movies as a child artist. Mahesh Babu acted in the films Koduku Diddina Kapuram, Anna Thammullu, and Balachandrudu. 
Mahesh then took a break to complete his studies. In 1999, Mahesh Babu made his debut as a hero with Rajakumarudu. K Raghavender Rao directed the movie. The film recently completed 21 years of release.In his career spanning 21 years as a solo hero, Mahesh Babu scored blockbusters Okkadu, Arjun, Pokiri, Businessman, Dookudu, Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu. Mahesh Babu scored a big hit this year with Sarileru Neekevvaru.Mahesh’s upcoming movie is Sarkaru Vaari Paata, under Parasuram’s direction. Keerthy Suresh plays the leading lady in the movie.
