Acharya is a film that has been in the making for almost a year now. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and he is waiting for two long years to wrap up the film but as Chiru was busy with Sye Raa, things got delayed.
The film went on floors but the COVID happened and changed things all around. Now, once again the shoot was stalled for a few days as Chiru fell sick due to the humid conditions in Telangana. Since then, reports have been going around that the film will be postponed and will not come out on May 13th as promised. But we have come to know from the mega camp is that Chiru is fine and the film will be on time and there won’t be any delay at all and the reports coming out are just baseless rumors.
