Atithi Devo Bhava is Aadi Sai Kumar’s latest presentation. The film is out and, read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.
Abhay played by Aadi Sai Kumar has issues with living alone. This monophobia of his often lands him in trouble with others. If this was not enough, he falls in love with Vaishnavi played by Suveksha. But due to his crazy attitude, there erupt problems in his love story. What did Vaishnavi do to help Abhay come out of his issues is the story.
For a change, Aadi Sai Kumar has done well in his different roles. He gets a good scope to perform and makes full use of it showcasing he can act well. The heroine gets a meaty part and she handles the emotions in a good manner. Roshini, who plays a key role is getting routine characters. Saptagiri overacted to no extent.
The film has a novel point. But for that novel point to be quite strong, the narration had to be good. But that is not the case as the slow pace and weak characters disappoint in many scenes.
There is no drama in them and the way they react in key situations also looked fake. The way Aadi’s character reacts in certain situations is also dull and over the top creating a comedy factor.
The music is okay but the editing was so disappointing as the first half itself goes for a toss. What could have been a gripping love drama has been marred with silly and boring elements. Aadi has to wait and choose some good scripts to make his comeback otherwise things look difficult for him.
Bottom Line – Bores you completely
