Yesteryear actress Bhagyashree is all set to make a comeback in Prabhas’ film. She made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989). The film was a smashing hit and made the then newbie actress an overnight star.
While top most directors and producers made beeline outside her residence to cast her, surprisingly Bhagyashree was not keen and sent shock-waves by calling it quits post her marriage with Himalaya Dassani. Now, she is all set to make her comeback on the silver screen. She has singed the dotted lines and can guess with whom she set to co-star with? The actor is none other than Rebel Star Prabhas.
Confirming the project, Bhagyashree said, “I have been reading scripts and have in fact started working as well. Well, one of the films is with Prabhas. The film’s name hasn’t been announced. Just before lockdown, I had started shooting for it. It is a very interesting character where I had to learn a different skill set for it.”
Ask her on her decision of quitting films, she said, “A tough call because by then I had realised that I do enjoy acting and I was like I wish I had the possibility of managing both. But no, because he just took over my life. My entire focus and happiness were having him with me. At that point, it was not a tough choice. All that I wanted to do was spend time with him.”
