‘Big B, Abhishek don’t require aggressive treatment’

The doctors at Nanabati Hopistal have given a health update on Amitabh Bachchan and his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan stating that they are “clinically stable”. The hospital staff said, “They both are in the (isolation) ward and are clinically stable. At present, they do not requiring aggressive treatment. They are okay with the first line of medication. They are being given supportive therapy. Their vitals and appetite are fine”.

A day after Big B and Abhishek tested positive for COVID, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya also tested positive for Coronavirus. The news was revealed by Abhishek who said that mother-daughter will be “self-quarantining at home”. On Sunday Big B took to social media and thanked his fans and well-wishers who prayed for Bachchan family during these times. He wrote, “My dearest extended family, your concern, your prayers and your wishes for Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me for a speedy recovery has filled me with unending gratitude. I thank you all”.

Meanwhile, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed all the four bungalows of the family and sanitised the building.
