Bollywood Star Hero Joins Hands with Lokesh Kanagaraj

Bollywood star Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will be working with popular Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a new superhero film. The movie is set to be a high-budget action entertainer and will begin production in the second half of next year.

During a recent media interaction, Aamir shared that the project with Lokesh is a dream collaboration. Lokesh Kanagaraj is famous for his intense action films like “Vikram,” “Leo,” “Kaithi,” and “Master.” This marks his first project with Aamir Khan and also his first Bollywood venture.

While there were rumors about a sequel to Aamir’s 2014 film “PK,” the actor denied it. Instead, he revealed that he is reuniting with Rajkumar Hirani for a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, who is considered the father of Indian cinema.

Aamir also opened up about his long-standing dream project, “Mahabharata.” He said that he has been dreaming of this for the past 25 years. However, he’s not ready to give details yet as the foundation of the project is still being worked on.

When asked which of his films could have sequels, Aamir mentioned “3 Idiots,” “Dil Chahta Hai,” and “Sarfarosh.” He believes these stories could be explored further, especially if they show how the characters face challenges in their mid-life.

Additionally, Aamir shared his love for remakes. He proudly said that he has done over 10 remake films, most of which were successful, including Ghajini and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Despite criticism over Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir stood firm in saying he will continue doing remakes if he finds good stories.

With multiple films lined up and new collaborations, Aamir Khan continues to push boundaries and stay relevant in Indian cinema.
