Boney Kapoor is one of the top producers in the Indian film industry now. He launched a series of projects recently. He is remaking Hindi films in Telugu and Telugu films in Hindi.
Badhaai Ho is one of the major hits at the box office last year. The film which was released amidst low expectations with a not so heavy star cast has earned more than Rs. 200 crores in its total run. Directed by Amit Sharma, this film has Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajendra Varma and Neena Gupta in lead roles. Boney Kapoor bought the remake rights of this comedy entertainer. Boney will be making this film in all the four south Indian languages.
He is also remaking Pink in Tamil and it is expected to get dubbed into Telugu. Now, he is remaking F2 into Hindi. Dil Raju will foray into Bollywood along with Boney Kapoor. Dil Raju made an official announcement on the same and Boney Kapoor is also expected to remake two more Telugu blockbusters in Hindi soon.
