Ek Mini Katha Review

Ek Mini Katha is a film that was promoted a lot by UV Concepts. The film directed by Karthik Rapolu and has now made its way to Amazon. Read our review to find out if the film had any juice in it.

Plot

Santosh(Santosh Shoban) suffers from the opinion that he has a small penis. He tries various programs to enhance his private part. In all this, he is forced to get married to Amrutha(Kavya Thapar). This makes his problems bigger and he starts avoiding his wife. The rest of the story is about how things work for Santosh and he clears all his problems.

Performances

Santosh plays his role so well and single-handedly carried the film with his performance. Kavya Thapar is glamorous but her dubbing is bad. Sudarshan is a big highlight as his comedy ticks well. Posani shines in a hilarious double-meaning episode. Brahmaji is nice as the hero’s father. Saptagiri’s comedy looks stale and derails the flow. Too many supporting characters spoil the second half.

Analysis

Does size matter is the biggest problem that men face in the world. It is also the most common issue among young men and based on this director Karthik Rapolu has written the subject. It is quite bold and has some delicate issues being told but with a pinch of humor.

Things start on a weird note as the comedy about the size of the private part is shown in a unique manner. But with the entry of Sudharshan, things change and the comedy angle starts working. The matter addressed looks decent and ends the first half so well.

The second half also has good comedy but the story is taken away by silly characters and forced emotions. After a point, the family drama looks way too over the top. Hero is trying to avoid the heroine and there are hardly any scenes on this.

The climax is also ended in a jiffy and not much justice is given to the issue. In a nutshell, Ek Mini Katha has good comedy and some over-the-top scenes. If you are okay with this, the film can be touched upon with low expectations.

Bottom Line- Bold but okay
