Family Star X review: Here’s what netizens have to say about Vijay Devarakonda starrer

Family star movie 1 Family star

Vijay Devarakonda, after the blockbuster Geetha Govindam, collaborated once more with director Parasuram Petla for the eagerly anticipated film, Family Star. Released worldwide on April 5, the movie, featuring Mrunal Thakur, sparked high hopes among cinephiles.

The narrative of “Family Star” revolves around the dynamics of a middle-class family, delving into their financial struggles, emotional bonds, and the protagonist Govardhan’s transformation from a strict provider to a defender of love.

Anticipation soared after the release of the theatrical trailer, with fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to catch the earliest screenings. Following the premiere, viewers flooded social media platforms with their thoughts and opinions.

Twitter was abuzz with reactions, as enthusiasts shared their experiences and critiques.

Another user wrote “Decent first half and comedy worked well… Vijay and Mrunal at their best. A good family track movie. The Interval banger is really uff (bomb emoji and fire emojis). Emotion works beautifully in the 2nd half that saves the movie! My Rating – 3.5/5.”

Another one said, “Family Star – First half is entertaining so far!! I think second half will have more gripping moments the way interval bang has happened!” A third user called the film a “perfect family entertainer!!”

The ensemble cast, featuring Vijay Devarakonda, Mrunal Thakur, and a host of talented actors like Vasuki and Jagapathi Babu, delivered noteworthy performances. Notably, Rashmika Mandanna made a cameo appearance, adding to the film’s allure.

Behind the scenes, Parasuram Petla’s direction, supported by Vasu Varma’s writing, brought the story to life. Sri Venkateswara Creations, led by Dil Raju and Sirish, spearheaded the production. Gopi Sundar’s musical compositions and background score enhanced the cinematic experience, complemented by K U Mohanan’s cinematography and Marthan K. Venkatesh’s editing prowess.
