Trisha Thug Life remuneration:
The upcoming film Thug Life, directed by the famous Mani Ratnam, is creating a lot of excitement among fans. The gangster thriller is set to release on June 5, 2025, and has been made with a huge budget of around Rs. 250-300 crore.
One interesting fact about Thug Life is that Kamal Haasan, one of the lead actors, has taken a different payment approach. Instead of a fixed salary, he has entered a profit-sharing deal with the director Mani Ratnam. This means both will share the profits once the movie succeeds at the box office, rather than receiving separate payments.
Among the actors, Silambarasan TR (STR) is reported to have received the highest fixed fee, about Rs. 40 crore, for his role as Amaran. Trisha Krishnan, who plays Kamal Haasan’s love interest, earned Rs. 12 crore, which is three times her fee for the movie Good Bad Ugly. Other cast members include Abhirami, who got Rs. 50 lakh, and Joju George, who received Rs. 1 crore.
