Kriti says that she is shocked by the amount of love she is getting for this film. When asked about the best compliment she got for Uppena, Kriti said that Sukumar spoke to her for close to one hour in detail and spoke about every action and emotion of her. Kriti says that this was the best compliment that she received for the film. Kriti has already signed two more films which are on floors as of now. Many say that she is the next big thing in Tollywood and will stay here for a long time.
