Indian actress Mahika Sharma who was in Pakistan for her performance had an unpleasant experience. The actress got arrested in Pakistan for illegal stay after her ‘Ghumar’ performance. A popular daily reported that the actress planned to extend her stay in Pakistan which required permission.
A source said, “Mahika Sharma who will be soon shooting for a cameo in new Pakistani television show named ‘Jannat-E-Ishq’ was arrested for a illegal stay in the country. She was here, for a event in which she introduced them with one of the popular Indian folk dance.”
Earlier, this year Mahika lent her support to the LGBT as the Supreme Court hears petitions on discarding section 377 criminalising homosexuality. Many Bollywood celebrities including Esha Deol, Nakul Mehta have come forward supporting LGBT community and Mahika Sharma has made startling revelation over this. Mahika said that the majority of the actors in the entertainment industry are enjoying same-sex partners, adding men’s ration is on the rise. She wrote, “There is nothing wrong in it as long as it is with mutual consent.”
