Talking about the recent episode, Anushka shared a video of Rajnigandha Silver Pearls TVC where she is promoting mouth freshener made of silver-coated elaichi (cardamom). Sharing the video, she posted, “Let goodness shine! ✨✨ #AchchaiKiChamak @rajnigandhasilverpearls #RajnigandhaPearls”. However, netizens soon slammed Anushka for promoting “ghutka” and failing to understand that it was only a mouth freshener.
The comments read, “Husband is fitness freak. Wife is tambakhu freak.” Another wrote, “U r stunning in dis advt, being a well wisher u shouldn’t work for these cheap materials.”
“@AnushkaSharma did not expect a responsible person like you to advertise a gutkha manufacturing company product.rajnigandha makes products which leads to cancer and other diseases.Even your husband is legally prohibited from endorsing such products…why are you doing it?,” tweeted another user.
