Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated film, Family Star, has confirmed its release date for April 5th, 2024, after facing several delays. Interestingly, the decision to reveal Family Star’s release date was contingent on the postponement of Devara.
A stroke of luck for Vijay is that April 8th coincides with Ugadi, making April 5th a lucky release day. With the film’s premiere on April 5th(Friday) it has a favorable chance to secure impressive collections, followed by potential successes on April 6th and 7th (Saturday and Sunday). The extended weekend, including Ugadi on April 8th, adds to the positive outlook for the film’s box office performance.
Junior NTR missed a fortunate opportunity as Devara was initially scheduled for April 8th, aligning with the auspicious occasion of Ugadi. Unfortunately, the film’s VFX works faced significant delays, leading to its postponement and causing the loss of the advantageous release date.
Directed by Parasuram, who previously collaborated with Vijay Deverakonda on the hit film ‘Geetha Govindam,’ “Family Star” stars Mrunal Thakur opposite Vijay. Fans are eagerly anticipating what the talented team has in store for them.
Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is a bilingual Telugu-Tamil project featuring music by Gopi Sundar. The chosen release date is strategically beneficial, overlapping with two weeks of continuous holidays.

The producer of Tillu Square, Naga Vamsi, has officially declared that the much-anticipated sequel to DJ Tillu, titled ‘Tillu Square,’ is set to hit theaters globally on March 29th. This film guarantees an enjoyable experience, with Siddhu Jonnalagadda reprising his cherished role and Anupama Parameswaran adding her glamorous touch.
