Parampara Season 2 Review

Shamshera is a film that has also been released in Telugu. Ranbir Kapoor has played the main lead and Karan Malhotra has directed it. Here is its review.

Plot

Gopi(Naveen Chandra) wants to kill his uncle Nagendra Naidu(Sarath Kumar) to become the ultimate mafia don. The same post is also being vyed by his cousin. Then, there are also powerful actors like Jagapathi Babu and Akanksha Singh who have a role to play in this power politics fight. Who wins it is the story.

Performances

Jagapathi Babu is a surprise package of the show. He starts on a slow note but explodes at the end. But the winner of the show is Naveen Chandra who is a pro when it comes to doing negative roles. The way he shows negative sides in his role is very good. Sarath Kumar is also menacing in his role of a senior don. Akanksha Singh is good in a suspicious role. Amani and other actors like Ravi Varma are let down after a while.

What’s Good

Drama

Star Cast

What’s Bad

Hurried narration
Predictable scenes

Analysis

Parampara 2 is the second season and takes off where the first ends. The major complaint for the first season was that it was lengthy and too slow to take off. This time, the makers have rushed up things and roped in big stars to do even small roles. Due to this this screen looks colorful all the time.

Naveen Chandra is the main man and the manner in which he grows to the top is not showcased properly. To hurry up with the story such key aspects have been ignored. There is decent drama which is also predictable at times.

As a lot of money is spent, the series looks lavish. The BGM and camera work is also good. Then the last few episodes have also been made well by the director duo. All in all, Parampara season two is better than the first but offers nothing new. So if you have enough time at your disposal watch it and enjoy

Bottom Line – So So Gangster Drama
