Filmmaker Puri Jagan is in form, thanks to the smashing blockbuster iSmart Shankar. The film, in fact, added the shell life of Ram Pothineni, and co-producer Charmee. Puri Jagan has now come forward with a noble cause. On the eve of his birthday which falls on September 28, the Pokiri director has pledged to help 20 directors and co-directors by helping them financial aid.

Puri Jagan and Charmee issued a statement on social media. The statement has now gone viral and many have lauded the efforts done by Puri. In his statement he added that he would try to continue such help every year. Meanwhile, actor Brahmaji in his tweet added that this is not first time the director has come forward to help, adding he has done many such deeds in the past.
