The first look of Shakeela’s biopic is out which is shared by actress Richa Chadha captioned it as “bold and fearless”. The poster carries the tagline “not a porn star”. Shakeela biopic would showcase the adult star journey from the rags-to-riches where she ruled the roost of South cinema during the 90s.
Shakeela rose to fame after she played role in Playgirl alongside then popular adult star Silk Smitha. Shakeela’s love interest in the film is essayed by Malayalam star Rajeev Pillai. The film is directed by Indrajit Lankesh and will release in summer 2019.
