Sagar Chandra is one of the talented filmmakers who is yet to get his due in Tollywood. Having made his debut with the film Ayyare, the director later came up with Appatlo Okadundevadu. Both the movies drew the attention of critics and audiences. The director was supposed to do a film with Varun Tej but it was kept on hold. Now, the reports reveal to us that Sagar Chandra would do a film with Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan is going to do the remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Pawan will reprise the role of Biju Menon from the original. It is a sincere and honest cop role who will take on Rana Daggubati. Rana reprises the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran from the original. Initially, the film was planned with Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati but Pawan stepped in.
The reports confirm that Sagar Chandra has been finalized to do the film and the official announcement of the same is going to come out in a couple of days. Sithara Entertainments is the production house bankrolling the film.
