September remains another worst month at the Tollywood box office with majority of flops

September has come to an end, marking another challenging month at the Tollywood box office. Despite the arrival of several films in this month, Tollywood faced significant challenges, with only one managing to succeed. Most of the movies had a tough time at the box office.

The only exception was Naveen Polishetty’s ‘Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty,’ which achieved considerable success in the Tollywood box office. Apart from Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty, the Bollywood film Jawan also made a significant impact. However, apart from these two, all the remaining films turned out to be disasters.

While Vishal’s Mark Antony found success in Kollywood , it failed to resonate with Telugu audiences. The Telugu audience didn’t embrace loud comedy and it would be the reason for Telugu people rejecting Mark Antony. Additionally, despite a positive response to the Kannada film ‘Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati,’ the film didn’t do great at the Tollywood box office. Its slow emotional aspect didn’t connect with Telugu viewers, leading to its removal from theaters within a week.

Regarding last week’s releases, Ram’s Skanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu, was disappointing despite Ram’s hard work. Raghav Lawrance’s Chandramukhi 2 was outright rejected, and Srikanth Addala’s Peddha Kapu – 1 turned out to be a disaster. Many other films also faced similar fates.

In summary, during the closing days of September, only Jawan and Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty managed to achieve noteworthy success at the Tollywood box office leaving movie buffs and industry in a state of distress.
