Adivi Sesh who has become a man of thriller movies has continued his successful form with the recent outing Evaru. Just like Kshanam and Goodachari, even Evaru is made as a suspense thriller which hooks up the audience to the edge of their seats. The film was released on August 15th and received extremely well by the audience.
According to the latest trade reports, the film has collected a total share of Rs. 10 crores from the first week of its release. Considering the budget and the pre-release business of the film, it can be termed as a hit at the box office. The failure of Ranarangam also helped Evaru to have a good run.
Evaru is inspired by the Spanish Thriller The Invisible Guest and a lot of changes have been made to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audience. It is directed by debutant Venkat Ramji and had Regina Cassandra in the female lead role.
