The drug ring begins to crumble as NCB gets technical evidence and also a few confessions. The NCB officers were awake till 5.30 am this morning cracking all the digital devices, CDR and chats and immediately swooped down on Rhea’s and Samuel Miranda’s residences. Showik when interrogated tried his best to say that he wasn’t pedalling drugs but just consuming them, but he was speechless when faced with all the evidence.
It will be a big day tomorrow as Rhea and her father will be called for questioning and has to be seen if any confessions will be made. She not only faces heat of answering questions on Sushant’s death and also has a double problem of procuring drugs. Showik has named his sister and said he got into the drug procurement only because she told him. The bigger fish are still out in the open but one hopes that these arrests will lead to nabbing the king pins.
