Anubhav Sinha who dealt with Mulk that spoke of bigotry in religion, Article 15 which was based on the oppression of caste, Ra.One, Dus, Tum Bin and finally Thappad that focuses on gender discrimination had shocked his fans with his Tweet. He said he is resigning from Bollywood, as he had enough. While some feel he cannot take the trolling anymore, (he has a pinned tweet that says people should be qualified to troll him) some say the break could be temporary whatever the reason.
There were hate posts like his existence doesn’t matter to Bollywood but there were equally encouraging replies urging him to reverse his decision. The Tum Bin 2 director, Anubhav Sinha also made an addition to his name on Twitter. The director added ‘Not Bollywood’ to his name on the social media platform. The director’s name on Twitter now appears as Anubhav Sinha (Not Bollywood). The director has been tweeting about the latest happenings in the country.
