Fidaa success continued for mega prince Varin Tej with Tholi Prema. The feel good romantic entertainer which is all about love at first sight. For Aditya (Varun Tej), it’s love at first sight in case of Varsha (Raashi). This Telugu filck which got much hype for caring the title of Pawan Kalyan’s classic love story Tholi Prema. The debutant director Venky Atluri was successful in reaching the expectations of class and mass audience, and add another blockbuster hit in Varun’s career. Overall it’s a perfect love story for this Valentine’s Day.
While he is on a train journey, Aadi (Varun Tej) spots Varsha (Raashi Khanna) and instantly falls for her. Later, they meet each other in the Engineering college. They part ways again due to some unexpected ego clashes. What happens when they cross each other’s lives after six years forms the rest of the story of the movie.
Aadi is a tailor-made role for Varun Tej. There’s a lot of improvement in Varun’s performance when compared with his previous movies. There’s also a lot of transformation regarding Varun Tej’s look. Varun impressed everyone with his performance in three different phases of life.
He did well in the romantic scenes as well as the emotional scenes. Varun is good with dances as well. On the other side, Raashi Khanna is the best as Varsha. Undoubtedly, this is one of her career-best performance. She looked cute and different in the movie. Priyadarshi, Hyper Aadi, Vidyullekha Raman and others are right in their limited roles and made their presence felt.
SS Thaman’s music is a significant asset for the movie. He scored brilliant songs for the audio album and came up with best background score. The BGM elevated the mood and story-telling. George C William’s camera work is a significant plus in the movie.
He shot the film very well. The artwork is another plus point for the film. Venky Atluri picturised the songs in a pleasant way. The editing is good. The dialogues are very good, especially in the second half. The film looked stylish and class regarding making. The production values are lavish.
Toli Prema is one film that enables the audiences to celebrate the love once again in a fresh way. The film offers a new feel for the movie lovers when they come out of the theatres. While the first half of the movie looks youthful, the second half of the film concentrates on impressing the family audiences. There is good emotional content in the second half.
With great performances, fantastic music, proper technical output, Tol Prema movie is a perfect entertainer this weekend.
