Tollywood mourns the death senior actress Vijay Nirmala, who passed away in the wee hours at Continental hospitals, Gachibowli. At the time of her death, she was aged 73. The news has come shocking to not only to film celebrities but the audience as well, who took to social media to express condolences to Mahesh Babu, Krishna and Naresh.
She was born in Tamil Nadu but went on to rule Telugu cinema decades. Her father was into film production. Vijay Nirmala is not only an actress, producer and director who has helmed over 44 films in Telugu. She also holds Guinness Book of Records as the female director of the most films. She is bestowed with Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for her contributions to Telugu cinema, given to her in 2008.
