Fans of the energetic hero, Vijay Devarakonda, were left in shock when rumors circulated about the sudden halt of the much-anticipated Pan India movie directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. This film, touted to be the biggest budget project in Vijay’s career, had enthusiasts eagerly awaiting its release. However, recent discussions within the film’s unit refute the speculations, saying that there’s no truth to the abrupt stoppage.

Putting an end to the speculations, Netflix officially announced its acquisition of the rights for the movie just two days ago. The statement clarified that agreement is made by the makers with Netflix, including an upfront advance payment. Thus, any talk of cancellation should be dismissed as mere rumor. Meanwhile, it is also heard that only herione got changed and there is no matter of halting the film.

Currently, Vijay Devarakonda is on a brief hiatus, focusing on completing his project with director Parushuram titled “Family Star.” Delays in shooting, attributed to foreign scheduling conflicts, caused the film to miss the Sankranti season. Gautham Tinnanuri, meanwhile, has wrapped up another project featuring a cast of newcomers and is immersed in post-production activities. Anirudh Ravichandare is handling the music composition for this venture, with both committed to swift re-recording.

So, the regular filming for VD 12 is slated to commence in February, as indicated by producer Naga Vamshi, who foresees this as a monumental Pan India film that will surpass expectations.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of Guntur Karam, Naga Vamshi later hasn’t raised the topic of Vijay Devarakonda’s film. Clarity is expected as soon as he will participate in promotions for “Gangs of Godavari” and “Tillu Square”.

Meanwhile Vijay fans expectations on VD12 are high, especially after “Khushi” fell short of anticipated success.
