War of words between Vishwak Sen, Vivek Sagar

A rap song- titled Mass Ka Das dedicated to Jr NTR on his birthday has now blown out of proportion between Vishwak Sen and Vivek Sagar. The HIT actor dedicated the unreleased song from Falaknuma Das and as a tribute to NTR on his birthday, May 20. However, this irked composer Vivek and expressed his anger on Instagram and wrote, @VishwakSen I’m not associated with this video — I have asked you repeatedly to get this down and you have failed to do so — you have killed the vibe of the song by making this — as an artist I’m truly disappointed with this attitude (sic).”

Speaking on the issue infuriated Vivek said, “This song is a creative and collaborative effort by many people involved. It is the result of a lot of hard work. The song was composed for the film Falaknuma Das, not to make mash-ups and use in birthday tributes. The fact that they have put this up without including it in the OST of the album and without taking my consent is what irks me.” He has now approached Sony to take down the song.

He further added,  “Creating music is not easy and it can’t be used so casually. This is not my song alone. The production team, Sony and I — all of us have rights to this song. It’s a team effort. So if it has to be used anywhere, we must all be on board with it. I have reached out to Sony and they said they will have the video taken down. I hope it happens soon”.

Vishwak: Why should I take it down

The actor however says that his production house owns the right and refues to remove it. He said, “My production house owns the rights to the song so why should I take it down? The issue happened because my team made the mistake of not giving credit to Vivek when the video was first put up. I admit my mistake and have apologised to Vivek. But there’s no question of taking down the video,
