Ramoji Rao, Eenadu Group chairman and founder of Ramoji Film City, has reportedly fallen sick following age-related problems. A photo of him resting on a bed is doing rounds on social media.
The 86-year-old is regarded as a pioneer in the newspaper business and distribution after he launched his Telugu daily Eenadu in the mid-70s earning a name for itself among the readers.
The Padma Vibhushan awardee has influenced regional politics with his dedication as a newsman. Although the vernacular daily is termed as the mouthpiece of the Telugu Desam party, Eenadu hasn’t lost its name in upholding journalism ethics and standards as it still continues to be the favourite daily among readers.
It is learnt that he is not admitted to a hospital yet. He is being treated by doctors at home.
