Acharya is a film that has been in the making for almost two years now. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and he is waiting for three long years to wrap up the film but as Chiru was busy with Sye Raa, things got delayed. The film went on floors but the COVID happened and changed things all around. Now, once again the shoot was stalled for a few days as the Corona scare was in full swing. But now as the cases have gone down, the film is all set to go on floors from the 7th of this month. The film is up for a release during the Dusshera season and megastar Chiranjeevi is planning to announce the date in the days to come. Kajal and Pooja Hegde are playing female leads. Ram Charan will be seen in a solid role as well.
