Vamsi Paidipally is litterally struggling to get work. Of course, his recent directorial ‘Varasudu’ earned Rs 300 crore at the box office. But this cliched run-of-the mill story with a sluggish narrative received below talk when it was released during Sankranthi.
Despite it’s worldwide record collections, the film did abysmally low in Tamil Nadu earning quite less compared to hero Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’.
And not to forget, ‘Varisu’ didn’t earn him fame as it is portrayed on social media and YouTube, it was the film ‘Oopiri’ starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi earned Vamsi critical acclaim at the box office.
Despite the fact that Superstar Mahesh Babu was the first actor to decline the ‘Varisu’ script, Thalapathy Vijay accepted it for massive remuneration of Rs 100 crore.
It is learnt that Vamsi is out of work. He making cautious moves to get a big Telugu star for his next project but it too didn’t materialise. All top actors are occupied with their projects and have no time for Paidipally. It is learnt that he trying to get into contact with Allu Arjun or Prabhas, but nothing seems to be going his way.
