Actor Sudheer Babu is obsessed with cop dramas so much so that he would relive magic moments in the cop uniform even in his dreams. Like he does in badminton, the passion for cinema is, of course, clearly evident in his words.
Probably with the action suspense drama ‘V’, Sudheer Babu might have developed a special liking for cop stories. But the suspense in ‘Hunt’ is poorly woven.
Even during the interview press persons, actor Sudheer tried to conceal the shades of ‘Hunt’ when scribes doubted whether the film is a remake of ‘Mumbai Police’ which was a blazing hit in Malayalam. He outrightly said no, and then he tried to give a vague answer that ‘Hunt’ is inspired by a few other action films.
Cut to the release date when reviews are out, ‘Hunt’ couldn’t even fare well at the box office. Leave mixed talk, critics downplayed this cop drama as an abysmally poor narrative except for a few thrills. With this curtains down on the suspense whether the film is a remake or not. But Sudheer Babu’s hunt for a break continues..
