A case has been filed against actress Revathi for hiding a sexual abuse of a 17-year-old. However, the actress issued a statement adding that the incident happened 25-years back and she doesn’t want to disclose her identy. Revathi added that sexual abuse never happene with the girl, adding she came to her house seeking for protection.
It all happened during the meet of Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) members who had criticized AMMA for backing Malayalam actor Dileep. During the meet, Revathi opened up the incident of the 17-year-old actress, adding such kind of incidents should never repeat ever again.
