Game Changer: Thaman is the main reason for postponement

Game Changer Thaman is the main reason for postponement

The much-anticipated film ‘Game Changer,’ a collaboration between director Shankar and actor Ram Charan under the production of Dil Raju, continues to linger in the shadows with no clear signs of an imminent release.

One primary reason contributing to this delay is Director Shankar’s commitment to releasing ‘Indian 2’ before ‘Game Changer.’ The former is set to hit theaters in the summer of 2024, implying that the latter may take an additional seven to eight months to see the light of day, potentially aligning with Dussehra in 2024.

Adding to the intrigue, a snippet of a song from ‘Game Changer’ with the catchy lyrics “Jaragandi..Jaragandi” has found its way into the public domain, creating a buzz among fans. However, the release of the song, and even its audio, remains uncertain, causing anxiety among the eagerly waiting audience.

Rumors circulating about the delay of the song’s release point fingers at Thaman, the music composer, who allegedly spent extra time re-recording it in response to negative feedback. Treating the leaked portion as a draft, Thaman took the initiative to have it sung by Daler Mehendi, making corrections in the orchestral arrangement.

Despite these efforts, the fate of the song hangs in the balance, as director Shankar has yet to make a final decision, leading to its current status of being put on hold. This unexpected delay has left fans speculating about the future of ‘Game Changer,’ adding an extra layer of anticipation to the already eagerly awaited film.
