Recently, music maestro Ilayaraja had a rift with Prasad Studios. The latter didn’t want to give its space for Ilayaraja and has approached the court regarding the same. The court gave the judgement in favour of Prasad Studios. After this judgement, it is rumoured that Ilayaraja is going to return all his awards including the Padma Bhushan, as a sign of protest. However, the music director has clarified that there is no truth in such news. 
Ilayaraja is not giving back his Padma AwardHe said that the media is misquoting his statements and asked his fans not to believe in any rumours. Prasad Studios gave a recording space to Ilayaraja long back, based on a verbal agreement. The new management wanted to take this space back and when Ilayaraja refused to give it, they had approached the court. The court ordered Raja to give back working space and said that he can be allowed into the studios under a few conditions. Eventually, he had to agree with the judgement and take back all his belongings from the studio.
