Legendary director Mani Ratnam, who scored a hit with his last film Ok Bangaram, is coming up with yet another romantic drama called Kaatru Veliyidai starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari. This film’s Telugu version has been now titles as Duet.
Ace producer Dil Raju has bagged the Telugu rights of this film. Dil Raju even produced Mani’s earlier flick Ok Bangaram in Telugu. That film had run successfully in Telugu states and that success made him buy this project for a fancy prize. Duet’s music is being composed by AR Rahman and Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography. The film is slated to release in March 2017.
