The seasoned Congress leader expressed his appreciation for Dil Raju’s gesture, emphasizing that no other personalities from the film industry reached out to wish him on assuming his ministerial role.
Having a positive relationship with the cinematography minister holds significance for the film sector. Previously, the rapport between the film industry and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav led to certain privileges, such as flexible ticket pricing and additional screening opportunities. The film industry benefited from a lenient approach by the KCR government.
With the new Congress government in place and Komatireddy at the helm, Tollywood needs to establish a similar understanding and rapport.
