Out of a bunch of films and web series that are being made on Tamil Nadu’s former Chief Minister, later Jayalalitha, the one starring Kangana Ranaut has gained more popularity. Titled as Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi, this movie is being directed by AL Vijay. Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad is penning the script for it.
This film will showcase the life of Jaya right from her film days and portrays her rise in politics as well. Aravind Swamy has been signed up to play the role of MG Ramachandran in the movie. The makers recently released the look of the actor and it went viral on social media.
Karunanidhi is the main political rival of both MGR and Jaya and his role will be having a great prominence in the film. Prakash Raj is said to be playing the role and his look is expected to come out soon too. Stay tuned to us for more details
