Superstar Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv is all set ready to make his acting debut with the Tamil remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
Varma is the official title of the movie. The national award winning director Bala, who is best known for films such as Sethu, Pithamagan and Paradesi is the captain of the project.
Varma,which is being produced by Mukesh Mehta under E4E Entertainment banner. DOP Sukumar has been signed to wield the camera. The female lead and the music composer of the film is yet to be finalized.
Riding on very high expectations, the project is all set ready to roll from January 26th, 2018.
Dhruv had also made a short film last year, ‘Goodnight Charlie’ Which dealt with the subject of child abuse within the family.
The Telugu version ‘Arjun Reddy’ was directed by Debut filmmaker Sandeep Vanga, and featured Vijaya Deverakonda, Shalini Pandey in the lead role. And it was the biggest blockbuster hit with the collections over Rs. 51 crore at the box office
