Telangana woman constable B. Amareswari has hogged limelight for her generous work. The viral picture on social media shows Amareswari stitching the masks in her spare time. The woman serves as a security guard of Telangana Governor from 6am to 9pm. Th next day she gets off from her duty, which she uses to stitch masks and distribute it. “I stitch 200 to 250 masks every day. I have so far made 3,000 masks and my target is to reach 10,000 masks,” she said.
She further adds, “I go door to door in colonies near my house and give three masks to every household. They can re-use our masks which are made of cotton cloth and are washable”.
