Soon after, rumors began spreading that this project was based on Shaktimaan, the iconic Indian superhero. Many Telugu media outlets picked up the story and suggested that Allu Arjun would be playing the lead role in a new version of Shaktimaan.
However, Basil Joseph quickly denied these rumors. He clarified that there is no truth in the reports. “No one else is doing Shaktimaan. If anyone is doing it, it will be Ranveer Singh and no one else,” said Basil Joseph. His statement has made it clear that the connection between Allu Arjun and the Shaktimaan project is purely speculation and not based on facts.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has started shooting for his next big film, directed by Atlee. This pan-Indian movie is being produced by Sun Pictures and is expected to hit theatres in 2027.
