Star Actress Now Rules the Restaurant World
Shilpa Shetty, a famous Bollywood actress, has made a name for herself not just in films but also in business. While many actors try their luck in different industries, Shilpa has become one of the top restaurateurs in India. She now owns more than six restaurants and earns huge profits every month.
Once a popular heroine on the silver screen, Shilpa Shetty appears in fewer films nowadays. But she has become more active in the business world. She started her restaurant journey in 2019 with a place called Bastian in Bandra, Mumbai, in partnership with Ranjeet Bindra. The restaurant quickly became a hit among celebrities and food lovers. Due to its success, she expanded Bastian to other parts of Mumbai.
Now, Shilpa owns six Bastian restaurants in Mumbai. Each restaurant earns about ₹1 crore per month, bringing her a total income of nearly ₹6 crores monthly. Her restaurants also pay one of the highest GST amounts in Mumbai’s food industry.

Because of her massive success, Shilpa is planning to expand Bastian to other cities like Pune, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. She is also planning to open two branches in Goa soon.
Many other actors have opened restaurants, like Mahesh Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jacqueline Fernandez. But Shilpa stands out with the number of outlets and the profits she makes.
Though she is not very active in films now, Shilpa is still in the spotlight thanks to her strong presence in the business world. At over 40, she is still admired for her beauty and business intelligence. From the movie sets to the restaurant floors, Shilpa Shetty proves she is a true all-rounder.
