Going by the reports that actor Vishwak Sen is charging a whopping Rs 4.5 crore as remuneration, it is understandable that Telugu film industry is on a good momentum.
Vishwak is the next gen actor, who carved a niche for himself with a variety of films. Compared to the other actors like Naga Shourya, Aadi Saikumar and Sudheer Babu, the ‘Paagal’ actor has a good fanbase.
If a hero like Naga Shaurya is being offered Rs 4 crore for a film, Vishwak deserves better pay for the content he offers.
Vishwak is currently pinned hopes on his upcoming romantic comedy ‘Dhamki’. It is being produced under his home banner. Later, he has a movie under Sithara Entertainments. After that, he doesn’t have any films in his kitty. However, it is learnt that Vishwak is marketing himself for the price Rs 4.5 crore.
Since he has a good market in the Nizam region, producers are assured that his film would easily cross Rs 3 crore. If he is given Rs 4.5 crore, production cost would amount to Rs 10 crore. That means, makers would probably eye for another Rs 15 crore from non-theatrical rights.
