Will Jr NTR Devara 2 Happen?
The future of Devara 2, the much-awaited sequel starring Jr NTR, is still uncertain. Fans are eager to know whether the sequel will happen soon or face further delays. Recently, during a promotional event in Japan for Devara, Jr NTR confirmed that the sequel is definitely planned. But there are many questions about when it will actually begin.
At the moment, Jr NTR is busy shooting for his upcoming movie with director Prashanth Neel, which is tentatively titled Dragon. This film is expected to release in June 2026, so it is taking up a lot of his time.
On the other hand, director Trivikram Srinivas, who earlier worked with Jr NTR in the hit film Aravinda Sametha, is planning to team up with him again. But first, Trivikram will direct a movie with Venkatesh, and only after that will he move on to work on a big mythological film titled God of War with NTR. This project may start only in late 2026 or early 2027.

Now, the big question is: Can Koratala Siva, the director of Devara, begin work on the sequel before Trivikram’s film starts? And if he does, will he be able to finish it in time? These questions are still unanswered.
With Jr NTR’s busy schedule and multiple projects lined up, it is hard to say when Devara 2 will go on floors. While the actor has confirmed the sequel, there is no official timeline yet. For now, fans will have to wait patiently and hope everything falls into place.
The excitement for Devara 2 is strong, but its fate depends on several moving pieces.
