Actors & Performances:
Raj Kumar Rao is impressive in his role. Playing a small-town guy is not new to Raj Kumar Rao and he has brought his best for the movie. He is the right choice for the role and did complete justice to it. It is fun to watch the actor performing different emotions. Nushrat Bachura looks beautiful. She has a part to play in the film and she has given, her best to the same. Zeeshan Ayyub played the lead antagonist in the film, and he excelled in the role. Earlier, he played a lot of roles that were overshadowed by other actors. In this film, he exhibited his full potential. Saurabh Shukla and Satish Kaushik are good in their roles and made their presence felt.

Analysis:
Ever since the film unit launched the movie trailer, Chhalaang, there is a positive buzz surrounding the film. Raj Kumar Rao, who is an expert in playing both serious and comic roles, makes sure not to disappoint his fans. When a talent like Raj Kumar Rao meets the filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the output is certainly a hit. It has been proven in the past as well. Similarly, the director has come up with a proper entertaining film this time.

Chhalaang begins with an interesting episode that sets the mood straight. The director takes his time to introduce his characters, but he executed the plot without bringing in any boredom. In simple words, the story is not new in the film, but the way it was executed made the difference. In different backdrops, a similar plot has been tested in the past. Most of those movies clicked at the box-office. The freshness in the plot arrived as it was told in the backdrop of a school.

Rajkummar Rao's Chhalaang To be actor's second film to have an OTT release after Ludo

The writing is very clever. Although the film is predictable, the drama in the movie is executed well. The first half of the film highly bets on the fun moments and the chemistry between Raj Kumar Rao and Nushrat. The second half picks up the pace, and that’s where the real sports-drama begins. There is a twist in the second half, which was revealed surprisingly. There are many fun moments in the film that make us neglect the minor drawbacks in the screenplay.

Chhalaang might remind us of the film Chhhichhore, but both the films are entirely different. The film unit implemented the same tested formula of success for this spots drama and it worked. The climax also impresses and leaves a positive impression in the end. The huge plus point of the film is the performances of the lead actors.

On the whole, Chhalaang is a fun-filled movie that you can catch up to pass the time.
