Guntur Kaaram: Makers rejected multiple music directors?

Guntur Kaaram starring Superstar Mahesh Babu has faced a lot of difficulties and changes before its release. The director, Trivikram, has had to deal with various problems, including issues with the songs.

The most recent song from the movie, “Oh My Baby,” received criticism from some of Mahesh Babu’s fans. Many people on the internet blamed the music composer Thaman and the lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry. Ramajogayya Sastry tried to explain their creative process on social media but later deactivated their account because of the negative comments.

This film has faced many problems, including changes in the people working on it. Whenever they tried to release songs from the movie, it got delayed multiple times, and there’s talk that Mahesh isn’t satisfied with Thaman’s music work. Although producer Naga Vamsi recently dismissed rumors that Mahesh didn’t like Thaman’s new energetic song, there was a time during the movie’s creation when they considered songs from other composers too. They approached a Malayalam composer known for creating beautiful songs and having two successful songs in Telugu. He was given a chance to compose two songs for Guntur Kaaram. However, after listening to the samples, the team felt that those songs didn’t have the wide appeal they were looking for, so they dropped the idea.

After that, they brought in another composer known for creating fantastic music for a recent pan-Indian movie. This composer was asked to create a few songs, but reportedly, Mahesh didn’t approve of them either. Eventually, they had no choice but to ask Thaman to compose all the songs again.

It seems like the team working on Guntur Karam is having a hard time finding the perfect tunes, especially for the music. The negative reactions to the recent songs are making them concerned in that aspect.

Meanwhile, the real test lies ahead as we eagerly await the audience’s reaction to the songs of the film post its release. The anticipation mounts to see how the audience will embrace and respond to the music featured in the movie. Ultimately, the true judgment of the film’s songs will come from the viewers themselves once they experience the movie on the big screen.
