King Nagarjuna heaps praises on Sai Ronak, Avika Gor starrer 'Popcorn'
King Nagarjuna is seen along with cast and crew of ‘Popcorn’ during the trailer launch event held in the city.

Starring young actor Sai Ronak and Avika Gor in the lead roles, the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Popcorn’ will hit screens on February 10. Directed by Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham, the film is being produced by Madhupalli Bhogendra Gupta under the banner Acharya Creations (of the critically-acclaimed ‘Napolean’ and ‘Maa Oori Polimera’ fame). For the first time, actress Avika Gor has turned producer for the film under the banner Avika Screen Creations. MS Chalapathi Raju and Seshu Babu Peddinti too joined hands to co-produce the project.

Akkineni Nagarjuna, who attended as the chief guest for the trailer launch event in Hyderabad on Wednesday, appreciated the makers for coming up with an innovative story. “The film will surely become a hit and director Murali doesn’t need to worry at all. I congratulate Aditya Music for chipping in. I hope this novel attempt will be loved by audiences. Actor Sai Ronak looks promising as an actor. Many years ago, when I was in Brazil, I learned that Avika Gor’s famous television soap ‘Chinnari Pelli Kooturu’ was dubbed and released in 128 countries. It was dubbed in Spanish and several other languages. Avika is a pan-world star. She even did two Kazakh projects. When I was into television, I knew that her famous serial would top the charts in terms of ratings. We had also produced ‘Uyyala Jampala’ casting her. After all these years, it’s good to see her cute expressions being displayed through this film ‘Popcorn’. She has also turned into a producer. I hope ‘Popcorn’ impresses a vast section of the audience.”

Sai Ronak said,”Popcorn’ is a film that no youngster would want to skip. Like the way, popcorn is an unavoidable snack when we sit and enjoy a movie in a theatre, the film has a vibe that it makes you feel unavoidable. The story of ‘Popcorn’ is so fresh and delectable. It doesn’t make you sit watching with a question. It is fun-filled yet there is a twist in the tale. I hope our Telugu audiences would enjoy it.”
